OLYPHANT — State police said they are looking for a man they say impersonated a police officer.

According to police, the man pulled up behind a driver on the Casey Highway near the Olyphant exit around 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The man turned on a blue light on the roof of his vehicle and red and blue lights in the grill.

The other driver pulled over and was confronted by the man for speeding.

Police described the man as being in his late 30s with short, curly black hair and driving a red Dodge Dakota with a wheelchair lift on the tailgate.

I didn’t know they were issuing RED DODGE DAKOTAS for police cruisers. Was he wearing a uniform or cutoff jeans and a t-shirt? I surely wouldn’t have pulled over for him.

Ya, I wouldn’t recommend doing that if it’s a marked police unit. And no one has to answer to your lawyer!

If you’re upset about the amount of speeders on the Casey, call and file a complaint to the state police in Dunmore. Be careful what you wish for though, because I’m sure you’re one of them haa
