MARSHALLS CREEK -- A former choir director has pleaded guilty to three counts of child sex crimes.

According to defense attorneys, Bernard Schade, the founder of a Pennsylvania boys choir pleaded guilty to one count of sexual assault and two counts of possession of child pornography.

Prosecutors accused Schade of raping a member of the boys choir back in the 1990s as well as having suitcases filled with child pornography in his home in East Stroudsburg.

Schade's attorney said his client could face a maximum of 12 to 24 years in prison. There is no word on when Schade will be sentenced in Monroe County.
