People Run, Walk in Honor of Teen Killed in 2010 Car Crash

SOUTH ABINGTON TOWNSHIP — People laced up their sneakers Saturday in honor of a teenager who was killed in a car crash in Lackawanna County.

Kristyn Kromko was 16-years-old when she died in a wreck in April of 2010.

On Saturday morning, folks joined together for a two mile walk/run at Baptist Bible College near Clarks Summit.

The money raised goes to a scholarship in Kristyn’s name that is given to a senior from Abington Heights each year.

This was the fourth year for the walk/run in Lackawanna County.
