People in Lackawanna and Luzerne counties, who were around in the early 1980's, know all about giardiasis.

Folks in dozens of communities were not allowed to drink their water for months, all because of possible contamination that could cause a flu-like illness.

In this Video Vault from Newswatch 16's Bob Reynolds, we go back to December of 1983, when bottled water was a hot commodity, and stores were having trouble keeping up.
