Deborah Thompson was sentenced Wednesday morning to nine to 23 months in prison a few months after pleading guilty to child endangerment.

Authorities shut down the facility in Stroud Township, near Stroudsburg in 2012 after finding violations during the investigation into the death of a 3-month-old boy.

The Monroe County coroner ruled the infant's death a case of sudden unexplained death.

I don’t understand what exactly she’s been convicted of as the coroner’s conclusion was SIDS….

Google “Sudden Infant Death Syndrome” otherwise known as SIDS, or “crib death” to the old-timers. It happens quickly with no warning (sudden), primarily to children under a year (Infant), who die generally in their sleep (Death), and the researchers don’t know exactly what causes it (Syndrome).
