Fire Crews Quickly Put Out Flames

PLAINS TOWNSHIP — Fire hit the vacant part of a double-block home in Luzerne County Wednesday afternoon.

It started around 3 p.m. and took firefighters about 15 minutes to put out.

It was part of a double-block home. The person on the other side will be allowed to stay.

No one was injured.

A state police fire marshal is investigating the cause.
