SCRANTON — Short train rides ran today that gave passengers a chance to take in the scenic views of the Nay Aug Park Gorge.
The “Nay Aug Limited” train rides took people on a 45-minute trip from the Steamtown National Historic Site to Nay Aug Park.
There were three separate tours that ran today.
The locomotive stopped by the gorge so passengers could enjoy the rock cliffs and waterfalls of Roaring Brook below.
The short rides gave visitors a chance to experience riding in the historic commuter cars that were built between 1915 and 1935.
People were also able to get a good look at the railroad yards before and after the ride in Scranton.
