SALEM TOWNSHIP -- Folks were chowing down on some chicken in Wayne County today to help local firefighters.
A boot drop and chicken barbecue were held at Ledgedale Volunteer Fire Company near Lake Ariel Saturday afternoon.
All the money raised goes to help the department purchase equipment and make upgrades.
Organizers said they've been holding this fundraiser for about 50 years.
