Big Diamond Friday night and we start with the Modified feature. Meme Desantis seemed to be smooth sailing along until he got mixed up with the lapped car of Colt Harris with two laps to go! This was good news for Billy Pauch Jr. as he assumed the lead and raced to his 3rd win of 2014!

The Sportsman feature, all starts fine until a Talladega sized pileup collects most of the front-runners. On the ensuing restart, Clay Butler and Mike Lisowski get tangled, leaving the door wide open for Doug Hendricks to bolt into the lead and he never looked back taking his first checkers of the season!

The Modified feature at Penn Can. Brian Malcolm and Kenny Titus racing hard for the lead until Malcolm takes the top spot. Malcolm eventually found his way to victory lane!

More Friday night action from Path Valley. The late-model feature. Three wide racing is an equation for trouble. Bob Dunn trapped in the middle gets sideways and Eric Irvin careen into the infield for the caution. Time snare in his crate engine beat out the rest of the field and their higher powered motors leading all 25 laps for the victory!

Saturday night at Mahoning Valley. The Modifieds. Don Wagner and Kris Graver fought hard all race but Wagner took the lead with 6 laps to go and took the checkers.

Then on Sunday night, I was the lucky one waving the green flag in the Mid Summer Thunder speedster feature! Kevin graver Jr and Kris Graver duking it out for the lead until. A crash in turn 3 for an overturned Todd Baird that brought out the yellow. Kris Graver had a better night than the one before and was held off the rest of the star-studded field to bring it home for a 3,000 dollar pay-day!

A perfect ending to a race weekend here at Mahoning Valley and this weekend I'll be at Pocono Raceway for the Pocono Indy 500!
