MONTROSE -- Roger Radakovich walked out of the Susquehanna County courthouse after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
He admits that he hit and killed Earl Youngs, 20, in January along Route 11 near Great Bend and drove away.
Radakovich of Hallstead was charged with homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, accidents involving death or personal injury. He pleaded guilty to just the involuntary manslaughter charge as part of a plea agreement.
"Involuntary manslaughter doesn't seem like the right plea that he should have taken. It doesn't state at all about how he left earl on the side of the road and then lied to the police about it," said Alyssa Wright, Youngs' Financee.
The Susquehanna District Attorney suggests Radakovich serve a sentence of 11 and a half to 23 months, but Youngs' loved ones don't feel that's enough.
"I don't think it's fair, but I probably won't ever think any of it is fair. He could get life in prison and I still wouldn't feel justice," said Wright.
Youngs' financee was in this the Susquehanna courthouse when Radakovich pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter. As part of that plea agreement, Radakovich must meet wit the victim's family before sentencing. But Youngs' fiancee said she's not sure if she'll be there.
"I don't know if i want to be face to face with him. Though, i think it would help show him exactly the people that he affected," said Wright.
Radakovich is scheduled to be sentenced on July 17th.
