Scranton School Board Accepts Resignation of Superintendent Bill King

SCRANTON — The Scranton school board has accepted the resignation of Superintendent Bill King.

The board accepted King’s resignation Monday evening by a vote of 8 to 1.

King will officially step down on October 1st a few weeks after the new school year begins.

King has been the Superintendent  in Scranton since 2009.
