CARBONDALE — “Brides Against Breast Cancer” stopped in the area to help brides-to-be and those battling cancer in Lackawanna County.

The nationwide tour of gowns came to the Best Western Pioneer Plaza in Carbondale.

There were about 1,000 gowns of all shapes, sizes, and colors were up for grabs.

Discounts ranged from 25% to 85% and the proceeds go to help cancer patients and their families.

Last year, $2,000,000 was raised during the tour.
