STROUDSBURG -- A man from Monroe County who assaulted a sheriff's deputy will spend 19 to 48 months in jail.
Chester Miller of Stroudsburg was sentenced Monday morning.
He pleaded guilty to simple assault and resisting arrest in March.
Detectives in Monroe County say Miller kicked a deputy in November 2013 after getting agitated during sentencing on theft charges.
