Phoenix police have arrested a homeless man for last week's shooting death of a Catholic priest who has ties to our area.
Gary Moran, 54, was charged Sunday night with killing Fr. Kenneth Walker and seriously injuring another priest.
Walker lived in Pike County as a teenager and he and his family often attended mass at St. Michael's Church in West Scranton.
Fr. Walker's funeral mass was held Monday in Arizona.
