SCRANTON– An investigation is underway after an overnight fire in Lackawanna County.
Firefighters were called to the house on Colfax Avenue shortly after 11:30 last night.
Crews said the small fire started on the back porch and did not cause much damage.
Authorities told Newswatch 16 that the late night flames look suspicious because there are no utilities running to the vacant house.
They also say a neighbor may have seen someone running from the place.
The investigation is expected to resume Monday morning when Scranton’s fire inspector will look for the cause of the fire.
