It was a big night for SWB RailRiders Manager, Dave Miley, who was inducted into the International League Hall of Fame prior to Saturday's game. Miley has been the only manager of the Yankees Tripla-A franchise, since they came to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in 2007.  With over 1,000 career wins as a manager, Miley was rewarded for his success, in a special induction ceremony at PNC Field.  I.L. President, Randy Mobley was there to present Miley with the coveted Curtain Call trophy, along with RailRiders GM/President, Rob Crain, and Yankees GM, Brian Cashman.  Miley's parents and his wife, Andrea, were also in town for the big event. Miley is a two-time I.L. Manager of the Year, and won the Governor's Cup with both the Louisville Bats, and the SWB Yankees. He has also managed the Triple-A All Star game a record-tying three times. Before Saturday's game, Miley's number 11 was retired at PNC Field, and the first 2,500 fans through the gates, received a Dave Miley Statue, as part of the celebration.

On another note, during the third inning of Saturday's game, Brian Cashman announced that the Yankees have extended their contract with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre for four more years, meaning the Yankees franchise will be here through 2018.
