The First Annual Race for Healing – 5K Run/Walk
In Bradford County, The Children’s Advocacy Center sponsors a “Race for Healing.” Proceeds benefit The Children’s House providing services for victims of child abuse in Bradford, Sullivan & Tioga Counties. The 5K Run/Walk is held at Athens Area High School on Saturday, June 28 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Please join the race to help the healing of child abuse.
Penny House 5K Run/Walk
The Penny House 5K Run/Walk is sponsored by the Lake Ariel Volunteer Fire Company with a beautiful course along the lake. The run/walk starts & ends at the Lake Ariel firehouse on Saturday, June 28 with registration beginning at 7:30 a.m. and the race starting at 9 a.m. Spend the rest of the day with the Lake Ariel Firemen’s chicken BBQ, parade & picnic.
