Suspect In Deadly Shooting In Custody In North Carolina

WILLIAMSPORT — A man wanted for a deadly shooting in Lycoming County has been picked up in North Carolina.

Williamsport police said Rashwan Williams was taken into custody Friday in High Point, North Carolina.

Authorities believe Williams is responsible for the shooting death of Aaron Lowry on West Third Street in Williamsport Sunday.

There is no word on when Williams will be returned to Lycoming County to face charges.
