WILKES-BARRE — A woman from Danville was sentenced to up to 10 years in state prison for repeatedly endangering two young girls.
Rebecca Butler brought the girls on visits to the state prison at Retreat in Luzerne County where they were touched inappropriately by a convicted killer.
The judge said Butler showed “the worst behavior by a mother he had ever seen” and called the crime “unforgivable.”
Butler was also ordered to sign up as a Megan’s law offender for 15 years and not to have any contact with the convicted killer or those two girls.
