STROUD TOWNSHIP— Police in Monroe County are searching for a missing man.
Authorities said Michael Vitek was last seen walking away from a home on Dennis Court near Stroudsburg Tuesday night.
Officers said the 54-year-old is deaf.
The family of Vitek is concerned because he had threatened to hurt himself.
He is described as a 6-foot-3 inch white male. He was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a black T-shirt with a flannel fleece over it and carrying a book bag.
Anyone who sees this individual or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact police in Monroe County.
