Strides for Spinal Cord Injury Research 5K/10K Run/Walk
The Run/Walk “Strides for Spinal Cord Injury Research” is in Lycoming County. All money raised benefits research at the Reeve Irvine Research Center to find a cure for paralysis from spinal cord injuries. The 5K/10K Walk/Run is at Indian Park on Park Street in Montoursville, Saturday, June 14 starting at 8 a.m. The race is timed with medals awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age group. Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA Benefit
Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA sponsors a fundraiser in Schuylkill County. The event features music, food, vendors, crafters, animal rescues & supporting businesses. The event is at Stoyer’s Dam / Bubeck Park on Main Street in Schuylkill Haven on Saturday, June 14 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. There’s a play area for children & fur babies are welcome! Please bring an item to donate to the shelter.
