RYAN TOWNSHIP -- Locust Lake State Park in Schuylkill County was so busy this weekend that dozens of people who wanted to camp there were turned away.
Roughly 1,000 campsites were rented out at the park during the holiday weekend.
Campers said the weather was nearly perfect.
Park officials said this was the busiest Memorial Day weekend in several years.
