Teen Enters Guilty Plea for Deadly Pedestrian Wreck

NANTICOKE -- Three weeks after his case was moved to juvenile court, a teen from Luzerne County entered a plea for his role in a deadly pedestrian crash.

Tyler Duda, 17, pleaded guilty in Luzerne County Court Monday afternoon to charges of homicide by vehicle and involuntary manslaughter.

The teen from Wyoming admits running down a pedestrian on West Union Street in Nanticoke last July.

The maximum punishment Duda now faces is time in a juvenile detention center until he is 21.
