Non-Profit Worker Accused of Stealing from Clients

SUMMIT HILL — A former worker with a non-profit group that helps people with intellectual disabilities in Carbon County is accused of stealing from clients.

State police said Donald Smale of Summit Hill faces fraud and theft charges.

According to troopers, Smale, 40, misused and stole more than $23,000 from two clients in Carbon County between November of 2012 and February of this year.

He was arraigned and is due back in court on Wednesday.
