KINGSTON — People of the Jewish community came together in Luzerne County on Sunday in honor of the Jewish holiday, Lag B’Omer.
A parade full of floats and a marching band stepped off on Institute Lane in Kingston and ended at the Church Street Park where a festival was awaiting the crowd.
There was Jewish music, an arts & crafts display and kosher food. There were also educational Jewish cultural workshops, rides and games for the kids.
