WILKES-BARRE — The Stark Learning Center at Wilkes University in Luzerne County was closed on Sunday due to an equipment malfunction that caused a power outage to most of the building.
No one was injured in the incident, and the damage was mostly confined to a mechanical area.
Faculty, staff, and employees who work in the Stark Learning Center should not report to work on Monday.
Wilkes University has not said what kind of malfunction caused the power outage.
