Seven Homes Damaged by Fire

COAL TOWNSHIP --  Fire damaged a group of seven row homes in the  1300 block of West Walnut Street near Shamokin Sunday night.

The blaze broke out around 7 p.m., and it took hours for crews to get it under control.

Officials said the fire started on the 2nd floor of one of the homes, and then spread to the homes on both sides.

A state police fire marshal is expected to investigate.

No one was injured in the blaze, and there is no word on what caused the fire.

    I know people that lived in some of the houses thankfully they moved like a moth or two ago
