The District 4 Track and Field Championships took over the Northern Tier this Saturday, as hundreds of hopefuls took to the track, hoping to be crowned as a Champion.

Simon Smith, of Towanda, won the AA Boys Mile in 4 minutes, 22 seconds, while Jenna Farmer of Lewisburg, won the AA Girls Mile in 5 minutes, 14 seconds.

Lindsay Carl of Central Columbia took home the gold in the AA Girls High Jump, clearing 5-4.

Courtney McCartney of Selinsgrove won the AAA Shot Put and Discus titles.

In the Long Jump, Alexis Auman of Selinsgrove won the AAA title.

Norman Whaley from Milton, won the AAA Boys Triple Jump with  a jump of 44 feet, 7 and 3/4 inches.

Jaid Harsch of Williamsport claimed her 3rd District Championship in the 100 Hurdles.

Britni Phillips of Bloomsburg wins the AA 100 Hurdles title.

Heaven Maeshack won the 100M in 12.71 seconds.

Ryan Wary of Shikellamy  edged out Chris Reuss of Milton in the AAA 100M.

Dominick Bragalone of South Williamsport won the AA 100M in 11.15 seconds.

Senior, Ellen Shepard of Central Columbia claimed her 4th District Title in the AA 100M, winning in 12.26 seconds.
