The Scranton Irish Boxing Club unveiled a new 2nd floor boxing facility on Thursday inside the Weston Field-house on Providence Road in Scranton. Sponsors raised over $5,000 dollars for the nearly two month project. Head trainer Gene Reed is excited about the future for local boxing in the area with a state-of-the-art facility in Northeast Pennsylvania.
