Thief Uses Box Cutter to Rob Turkey Hill

WILKES-BARRE — A thief is on the run after an early morning robbery at a mini mart in Wilkes-Barre.

Officers said the Turkey Hill Market on Hazle Street was held up around 3:15 Thursday morning.

According to police, a man pulled out a box cutter and told the clerk to hand over all the money in the store.  The thief made off with some cash and was last seen running towards Ashley.

The man is described as 5’7″ with a dark blue hoodie with white stripes, light-colored jeans and was wearing a pure white half face mask.

Anyone with information on this armed robbery is asked to call Wilkes-Barre Police.
