Two fallen officers from our area were remembered during a moving ceremony in Washington D.C. Tuesday evening.
Many paid tribute to the lost heroes at the law enforcement memorial in the nation’s capital.
Corrections officer Eric Williams was killed by an inmate while on duty at the federal prison near Waymart back in February of last year.
In June of last year police officer Daniel “J-J” Lomax who worked in Forest City and Mayfield was electrocuted while helping a driver during a crash.
