Round 2 of the Calder Cup Playoffs begins for the WBS Penguins as they take on Providence.  Last year, these two teams battled it out in all 7 games and the Pens rallied from 3 games behind to win the series.

The Penguins with a frustrating first period.

1:33 in, Alexander Khokhlachev puts the puck past Peter Mannino to get on the board first for the Bruins.

Then three goals in a one minute span...

Craig Cunningham on the power play makes it 2-0 then Andrew Cherniwehan makes it 3-0.

Khokhlachev finishes the outburst 8:03 into the game, and Mannino needs a standing eight count.

Deja vu of this series last season... Providence takes game 1, 4-0.

Newswatch 16 sports talked with head coach John Hynes and defensemen Scott Harrington after Game 1 on Friday night.
