The Pleasant Valley Boy's 3200 meter relay team of John Schmidt, Mike Sucic, Noah Fulcomer, and Khai Samuels won the event in 8:22.37 seconds at the 2014 Mountain Valley Track and Field Championships at East Stroudsburg South Area high-school on Monday May 5th, 2014.
Tony Cruz from East Stroudsburg North won the boy's high jump clearing 6 feet 4 inches.
Kyle Whiteman from Lehighton won the boy's shot put with a winning toss of 49 feet 2 inches.
Aspen Gaita from Stroudsburg won the girl's 100 hurdles in 14.49 seconds.
Changa Hodge from East Stroudsburg South won the boy's 110 high hurdles in 15.15 seconds.
Lauren Channer from East Stroudsburg South won the girl's 100 meter dash in 12.20 seconds.
Demetrius Lanier from East Stroudsburg South won the boy's 100 meter dash in 10.69 seconds.
Gwen Remaley the Lehighton senior won her third MVC title in the girl's shot put and her 4th in a row in the girl's discus with a winning toss of 116 feet 8 inches.
Joe Wiggins from Pocono Mountain West won the boy's triple jump by leaping 44 feet 7 1/4 inches. This is Wiggins first year in track and field with the Panthers. We will hear from Joe on Newswatch 16 Sports on Tuesday night May 6th at 6pm.
