WILKES-BARRE -- People came together this weekend to support the life-saving work of the American Heart Association.
Folks packed the Westmoreland Club in Wilkes-Barre for the Annual Luzerne County Heart Ball.
It's usually a who's who of the medical and corporate worlds, and Saturday night's event should help the American Heart Association continue its mission to save lives.
All the money raised at this year's Heart Ball is expected to help support heart research, education, and efforts to raise awareness about the cause.
