The pool at Lackawanna State Park will not open this season.
A new pool facility is scheduled to be built this summer at the park near Waverly, according to state DCNR officials.
Plans include new shower facilities, a concession stand, splash park and access for people with disabilities.
The state hopes to open the new pool at Lackawanna State Park next summer.
