Rite Aid Worker Held Up at Knifepoint

CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP — State police are looking for an armed thief after a Tuesday morning robbery at a store in Monroe County.

Troopers said it happened at Rite Aid near Broadheadsville around 2:30 a.m.

According to authorities, someone drew a knife on the cashier and demanded money.  Police said the thief got away with cartons of cigarettes.  He then ran out of the store and headed south on Route 209.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fern Ridge State Police.
