MOOSIC — An elementary school principal from Lackawanna County took her cooking skills to national television Monday afternoon.
Nichole VanLuvender from Old Forge was talking a little trash on ABC’s “The Chew.”
“I’ve been watching you all for years, but now it’s time for the student to become the teacher!”
The principal of Riverside East Elementary School in Moosic took part in the first “Chewer Versus Viewer Challenge.”
VanLuvender put a family favorite pork chop recipe up against a recipe from show star Michael Simon.
After a cook-off between the two, three judges declared VanLuvender’s pork chops the tastiest.
