WBS Penguins at Binghamton-Game 1

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins begin the 2014 Calder Cup Hockey playoffs on Friday night April 25th when they travel to Binghamton for the beginning of a best-of-five game series in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinal round. The WBS Penguins were (0-4) this year on the road at Binghamton.

Last year WBS defeated these same Senators (3-0) in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinal round, and in 2005 the WBS Penguins won an Eastern Conference Semifinals round against Binghamton.

Harry Zolnierczyk tied the game at one in the second period.

Andrew Ebbett had a shorthanded goal to tie it at two after two periods.

Then Anton Zlobin scored the game-winner 8:40 in OT.

Penguins win game one 3-2!
