WILKES-BARRE — A park in Luzerne County got some much needed sprucing on Friday as kids around the area celebrated Earth Day.
More than 1,200 students from schools across the Wyoming Valley spent the day cleaning up Nesbitt Park in Wilkes-Barre.
Also on site, there were about 40 environmental exhibitors.
This marked the 15th year for the event in Wilkes-Barre.
