Fire Clears Out Salvation Army

SCRANTON — A garbage fire is being blamed for smoke at the Salvation Army in Scranton.

Officials say trash in a dumpster caught fire around 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the building on River Street.

The building was evacuated but is now back open.
