Former Police Chief Enters Guilty Plea

MILLVILLE -- A former police chief from Columbia County pleaded guilty to harassment charges on Monday.

Ex-Millville Police Chief Ted Stoudt was accused of beating his ex-girlfriend and fellow police officer.  Stoudt voluntarily stepped down from his position last year.

As part of the plea agreement Stoudt must serve one year probation and agree to give up his police career.

    i hope we move to all state police. every little town cop is corrupt. Name 1 local cop that gives friends or family tickets. ITS A COMPLETE JOKE.. I wonder if he wasn’t a cop what sentence he would have got. They nail regular JOE’s to the cross well lets start double penalty’s for cops and politicians that are robbing us blind. THERE IS NO FREE AMERICA ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
