MILTON — Police arrested a man who led them on a foot chase in Northumberland County.
Police said they were investigating a series of burglaries in the borough on various streets when they contacted a man who matched the description of the possible burglar.
Officers talked to the man, who gave them false information and then fled on foot. The man was later identified as Andrew Lee Wrye, 28.
Officials said the Union County K-9 Unit was brought it to help track the suspect. Police said Wyre was caught and taken into custody, using both the K-9 and the public’s help.
Investigators said Wrye was also wanted in Dauphin County.
Police said Wrye is locked up in the Northumberland County prison awaiting burglary charges.
