ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KTVI) – Firefighters in St. Louis have rescued a two month old teacup Chihuahua named Storm from a sewer pipe.
“It’s not something we deal with normally,” says St. Louis Firefighter Adam Solomon. “You don’t train every day for a puppy in a well. It’s more house fires and medical for humans.”
KTVI reports that the pup fell into an uncovered sewer cleanout pipe while returning from a walk.
“I usually walk him in the doggy park but it was nice out, the sun came out and I just walked him and he tried to jump over the hole and he didn’t make it,” says the dogs owner Cocoa Young.
