WILKES-BARRE — Federal investigators searched a troubled housing complex in Wilkes-Barre.

Officials confirm that agents searched the Sherman Hills housing complex on Tuesday.

Representative Matt Cartwright’s office says the investigation “concerns the prior owner’s financial practices.”

Cartwright is a member of the Sherman Hills Task Force.

Sherman Hills was sold last week for $16 million.
