WALKER TOWNSHIP — A man is locked up for attempted homicide after he shot another man in the face, according to state police in Schuylkill County.
Officials said John Edwin Clause, 58, of Tamaqua, drove to Mark Scheitrum’s home in Walker Township, and shot him in the face after an argument.
Troopers said Clause then fled the scene and was later located by a neighbor.
Scheitrum was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital for treatment.
State police said Clause is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison charged with criminal attempted homicide and related charges in Schuylkill County.
