WILKES-BARRE -- Good Shepherd Lutheran Church's traditional Palm Sunday procession began at 9:45 Sunday morning in Wilkes-Barre.
Members of the congregation and Sunday School children walked through downtown Wilkes-Barre to Public Square and back to the church on South Main Street.
The procession had miniature horse to represent the donkey that Jesus rode when he entered Jerusalem. Participants carried palms, sang, and reenacted the biblical story.
