BRIAR CREEK TOWNSHIP --- Police dispatchers confirm to Newswatch 16 the coroner was called to the scene of a fire in Columbia County late Friday night.
The fire started around 11 p.m. on Foundryville Road in Briar Creek Township near Berwick.
Flames could be seen shooting through the roof of the mobile home.
The Columbia County coroner has identified the victim as 57-year-old Michael Rupp.
A state police fire marshal is investigating.
