CHERRY TOWNSHIP -- State police are investigating a death in Sullivan County.

A home in Cherry Township is where state police found the body of Randy Weaver, 51.

Just over four years ago, the property on Dutch Mountain Road was also the site of a deadly fire.

Weaver's wife, Bernadette Weaver, and their seven-month-old son Nathan were killed in that fire in March of 2010.

Randy got out alive, but was hurt.

On Wednesday afternoon, State police were called to the home again. This time, they found Weaver's body. They are not sure how long he has been dead.

Neighbors said Weaver rebuilt that house after that devastating fire in 2010. People in the Dushore area said he was involved in many activities, and they just can't believe he's gone.

Weaver worked at Hoffman's New Yorker Inc. on Route 220, but employees said he quit on March 21.

Friends of Weaver's said they are heartbroken over his death, but are glad he can now be with his family.

State police do not suspect foul play in Weaver's death, but they continue to investigate.

Trooper Donald Cole said, "At this time there's nothing suspicious about regarding his death, however we are awaiting the coroner's report for final determination."

Police ask if you have any information on Weaver's whereabouts prior to his death, call State Police Barracks in Laporte at (570) 946-4610.
