Loyalsock Township vs Lewisburg Baseball

Jimmy Webb started the game at pitcher for the Loyalsock Lancers on Wednesday night in a boy’s high-school baseball game against Lewisburg. After two successful innings Webb replaced on the mound by reliever Krizan. Loyalsock started off the game with 3 first inning hits to go along with two Green Dragons errors and a 4-0 lead. Sock pushed across two more runs in the bottom of the 4th and one more in the fifth, then sealed the deal with five more in the bottom of the 6th for the 12-2 win in 6 innings over Lewisburg. Tommy Baggett started off the scoring for the Lancers in the bottom of the 1st with a bloop double down the right field line. Loyalsock is coming off the 2013 PIAA “AA” State Baseball Championship.
