The automaker announced Wednesday it’s recalling more than six million vehicles.

The recall includes 27 Toyota models, the Pontiac Vibe  and the Subaru Trezia  produced from March 2012 to August of 2013.

The carmaker says it wants to inspect and replace some car parts if necessary.

The parts under scrutiny include the seat rails, steering column bracket and engine starter to name a few.

Toyota says it is not aware of any accidents, injuries or fatalities associated with any of the car parts.

The recall involves the following 1.3 million vehicles in the United States: certain Model Year 2009-2010 Corolla, 2009-2010 Matrix, 2008-2010 Highlander, 2009-2010 Tacoma, 2006-2008 RAV4 and 2006-2010 Yaris vehicles.

It also involves approximately 472,500 vehicles consisting of certain Model Year 2006-2010 Yaris Hatchback vehicles (approximately 158,000); certain Model Year 2007-2010 Yaris Sedan vehicles (approximately 250,500); and certain Model Year 2008-2010 Scion xD vehicles (approximately 64,000).
